MDDTC has a President; a Committee of nine members plus the Head Trainer ex officio; and a varying number of Trainers, Assistant trainers and other Helpers who run the Club.

Alison has trained dogs at MDDTC for over 30 years, from Collies to Saint Bernards. She has been a Committee member of long-standing, including Chairman, and took over as President at our AGM in 2007. Her current dog is Bernese cross, Heidi.

Head Trainer, Rachel, is an Accredited Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT Member 504) and attends courses regularly to update her skills. She takes Puppy and Advanced classes, and others. She has been a member of the Club since 1990, when she joined with her first dog, Tiggy, a Labrador cross. Rachel's current dog, Flat-coat Retriever, Storm, does Gundog training as well as working through the Good Citizen awards at MDDTC.

Vicky, our Chairman, joined the club in 1994 having got a rescue Labrador from the Cardiff pound called Ted. He was a bit of a townie and couldn't swim but soon got the idea and now likes to cool off regularly in the summer. He was quite boisterous at first but obtained his Gold Good Citizen in 2006. In summer 2008 she got another rescue, a Collie called Jet, with no known history. The two dogs couldn't be more different, she has to work to keep Jet calm and Ted works better if you syc him up. Jet is frightened in small places and if he meets loads of dogs however he is slowly growing in confidence and passed his Bronze in December 2008.

Barbara, our Treasurer, is a retired teacher. She enjoys walking and competing in Agility with her dogs, helping with local Riding for the Disabled, and stewarding at The Greyfriars in Worcester. She owns 2 Flat-coat Retrievers, Breeze and Travis, the latter being her 8th "Flattie". She has been coming to MDDTC since Breeze was a puppy, and they worked their way through to the Advanced Class. Both dogs have gained Gold Good Citizen. Barbara has two Open College Network awards from Pershore College: Canine Behaviour and Dog Trainer Skills. She also assists in different classes as needed.

Paul helps at Puppy classes and when he can, trains their current German Shepherd, Monty. Both Ann and Paul have a Pet First Aid certificate from Pershore College.

Frankie is a regular helper with classes including Beginner, Bronze and Silver / Intermediate, as well as working Boxer, Bill, and Curly-Coat Retriever cross, Freida, at Advanced level. Freida also does competition Obedience and Gundog training. Frankie has two Open College Network awards from Pershore College: Canine Behaviour and Dog Trainer Skills. Sarah is our Membership Secretary, dealing with enquiries and organising entry level classes. She takes a leading role in Puppy Classes and works her Cocker Spaniel, Spook, at Advanced level. Spook passed Silver Good Citizen in 2009.

Roger has almost forty years experience in training dogs, having started in the early seventies with a very difficult German Shepherd bitch, whose behaviour in the beginning left a lot to be desired, but as Roger often says, there is nothing like owning a difficult dog if you want to learn how to train them. Roger was a member of clubs in the Birmingham area throughout the 70's, 80's and 90's, rising through the ranks until he became chairman of Knowle Dog Training Club for some 7 or 8 years. During this time he became interested in Working Trials, which remains his preferred discipline. He also spent a lot of time working with dogs having behavioural problems. Roger has qualified as an instructor at Graduate level with the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers, and is currently working at the Advanced level, which will make him a full member of the Institute. He has been a member of MDDTC since January 2004, although he has only been instructing with us since 2009. Roger currently owns two GSDs, Cier and Rebus, who train at Club, Cier having Gold Good Citizen, and a Border Terrier, Rossi, who at 15 years old, prefers lying by the fire.

Angela is one of our more recent recruits to the committee after joining the club in Spring 2007 with her 12-week old Rottweiler puppy Saffron. She has progressed through puppy class and Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Awards, and is looking forward to the rest of the classes. She has always owned family dogs, her old girl Pippa (cross-breed) lived to a grand 23 years old!! Angela is a regular assistant in different classes.

Pete has been a committee member since 2005. He originally joined MDDTC in 1982, and returned with GSD, Amy on 2003. Amy has Silver Good Citizen and works at Intermediate level.

Debbie has been with MDDTC since 2005 and has 3 dogs, Golden Retriever, Sonny, and 2 working Cocker Spaniels, Jessie and Lucy (mother and daughter). Jessie has Gold Good Citizen and was chosen to take part in the Bronze display at Crufts 2005 and the Gold display team at Crufts 2007. Jessie's daughter Lucy has completed her Bronze and Silver Good Citizen Awards, showing great progress after a bumpy start to life, and now works at Advanced level. Both dogs do Agility, Jessie now competing. Jessie also does Heelwork to Music and has taken part in a couple of demonstrations. Debbie is an Affiliate Member of the British Institute of Profession Dog Trainers. She normally trains the Improver / Bronze Good Citizen class and is a regular assistant with other classes.

Penny is our newest committee member but has been training at MDDTC since she joined puppy classes with Black Labrador, Teal, in 2006.  They have progressed through the Good Citizen Scheme with the club and Teal now holds the Gold award. They currently work at advanced level. Penny's first dog was a small collie bitch who she and her husband 'bought' for a bottle of wine when they were working in Wales and who reached 19years old!
